Bud and Mary Berlingeri are Ona and my closest friends.  We have done 6 cruises together in France.   Bud is such an accomplished musician (he plays brilliant saxaphone) that Ray Charles invited him to play a solo at the Ray Charles gig in Newark Performing arts center.   He did not just begin playing the sax.  Before United Airlines Bud played lead sax with Claude Thornhill and Louie Prima.  He did 4 years in the US Army as part of the West Point Orchestra and Jazz Band.  Even today, when the West Point Band needs a special someone on the sax, they call on Buddie.  We treasure our time with them.  Ed

Bob Burns was a treat to fly with.  The consummate professional always, he injected that with just the right amount of wit and humor.  I will never forget the time he was on the Pritican Diet, or the time he was on the yogurt diet.   I ate so much yogurt that month that I became a real regular fellow. Ed
